Accountant Responsibilities:
- Hands on G/L accounting thru financial reporting
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Payroll& Benefits administration
- Responsible for monthly closings
- Assist Controller with month end financials daily
- Reconciliation of all accounts including Balance Sheets & Income Statement accounts
- Monthly Sales Tax Returns
- Special Projects, etc.
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Quickbooks experience is strongly preferred!
- Prefer 3 to 5 years' experience
- Adherence & compliant with GAAP practices
- Enthusiastic presentation with a positive, approachable manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills required.
- Computer savvy
- Professional demeanor with high regard for confidential & sensitive material
