As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will play a crucial role in packaging and shipping electrical supplies ranging from small boxes to large electrical spools. You will be stationed in the loading or receiving areas where you will manage inventory processing and shipment coordination.
Responsibilities
Package and ship electrical supplies, including labeling parts and processing large electrical spools.
Unload trucks and input products into the computer system.
Set up shipments and coordinate with vendors using computer systems.
Track inventory and verify all unpacked/packed orders to ensure accuracy.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for material handling.
Perform cycle counts and inventory control using RF scanners and SAP.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
Proficiency in computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
Valid driver's license and ability to articulate effectively.
Ability to perform simple math and pay close attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with order picking and heavy lifting.

Work Environment
The work environment is a dry warehouse equipped with fans and insulated to maintain a moderate temperature. Employees are expected to wear work pants, steel-toed shoes, and basic shirts. Standard shifts are Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work during busy periods.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
