As a Field Tech, you will be responsible for monitoring pile driving blow counts and testing densities across multiple sites in the Baton Rouge area. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor pile driving blow counts and test densities at construction sites.
  • Document and report findings with attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and site managers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in construction.
  • Ability to work outside in diverse weather conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Heavy civil experience is a plus.
  • Experience in vibration monitoring and pile logging is advantageous.
  • Owning a truck is beneficial.
  • No certifications required.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
