Job Description

· Wearing appropriate clothing and shoes for the job.

· Wearing and inspecting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed for the
position.

· Loading material between machinery, baskets, racks, and pallets.

· Making accurate counts of material.

· Assembling parts using hand, air, and power tools.

· Operating various tools in accordance with company safety policies.

· Cleaning tools, equipment and work area during downtime or when instructed.

· Safely storing labeled materials when not in use.

· Immediately reporting all safety concerns, near misses, property damage, and
injuries to appropriate management personnel.

· Working 40 hours per week and overtime as business needs dictate.

Job Specification

I. Required Skills

· Previous manufacturing experience is required.

· Ability to work in a diverse workforce.

· Ability to establish and maintain courtesy, dignity, trust, and respect of your
supervisor and all coworkers.

· Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the telephone and on two-way
radio.

· Ability to work in a team environment to meet productivity goals.

II. Preferred Skills

· Previous manufacturing experience.

· Previous fabrication experience.

· Experience with hand tools and power tools.

· Familiarity with safe work practices and safety procedures.

III. Qualifications

· Must have a stable work history.

· Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

· Must be able to do basic math and read and write.

· Must be able to work extended hours as needed including weekends.

· Must be able to work day, evening, or night shift.

· Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment screening
• Ability to wear all required PPE for the position
• Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8–10 hour shift
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors in year-round weather, including rain
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs routinely and up to 75 lbs occasionally while utilizing all proper lifting procedures and practices
• Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
