Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is seeking a Fabrication Labor Analyst to support a steel fabrication company at their corporate headquarters. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a heavy workload while maintaining pricing integrity and contract compliance.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 hrs/week | Temp-to-Perm

Pay: $21-$40/hr BOE

Primary Duties

• Analyze and interpret pipe spool drawings
• Perform labor take-offs from engineering drawings per job contract
• Maintain pricing and incomes within contract standards
• Implement and enforce pricing policies to ensure price integrity
• Communicate with Project Managers and Shop staff to verify job information
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Provide customer-oriented communication and support

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of experience in the pipe fabrication field preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• JD Edwards experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage workload effectively
