As a Shipboard Revenue Management Analyst, you will ensure guest account accuracy and oversee payment collection. Your role will involve reconciling and maintaining the precision of all sales and payment systems associated with guest and crew accounts, pre-paid items, amenities, and more.

You will report to the Business Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee credit card settlements
  • Manage voyage closings
  • Monitor group accounts
  • Reconcile amenities
  • Ensure guest folio settlements for cash and credit cards
  • Post and oversee guest onboard credit
  • Manage guest service recovery accounts
  • Correct voided transactions
  • Perform daily reconciliations between Fidelio and Micros (POS)
  • Update daily and voyage revenue reports

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting or a degree in accounting
  • Experience working on a ship
  • Proficiency in MS programs
  • Ability to create complex spreadsheets
  • Willingness to pursue continuous improvement
  • Cash handling experience is preferred

Candidates must:

  • Have a genuine interest in working at sea and living onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
  • Be willing to perform safety roles and emergency responsibilities per the ship Assembly Plan
  • Uphold safety management responsibilities as per the Safety Management System
  • Be prepared to share a cabin with fellow crew members and thrive in a multicultural, structured environment

Your Responsibilities:

  • Hold a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will assist in obtaining this)
  • Complete a pre-employment medical screening
  • Undergo a criminal background check
  • Bring approved work shoes
