Assistant Apparel Graphics Designer, US Sports

Description:

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATIONSupport the design team in creating market-right apparel offerings that reflect adidas' brand identity and performance standards. This role contributes to the full design process, from concept to final product, while learning from experienced designers and collaborating across departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in developing creative solutions for individual apparel productsExecute design work aligned with adidas' visual language and corporate identityCreate sketches, renderings, and technical drawings to communicate design intentWork closely with marketing and development teams to ensure smooth product realizationSupport communication flow between design and cross-functional partnersVerbally present product ideas and details in team meetingsVisualize concepts clearly for internal reviews and external stakeholdersHelp maintain efficient workflows and documentation across the design processParticipate in seasonal design reviews and product development checkpointsSeasonal prep and researchWorks closely with Development to assist in development process & costing; meet development timelines and calendar deadlines per seasonal milestone. This position requires employee to engage with many stakeholders, as well as manage various information and relationshipsAbility and desire to push themselves, others, and the brand forward.Ability to influence and collaborate with key business partnersProficiency in design softwareAdobe Illustrator/PhotoshopPower Point/Key NoteApple Mac operating systems3D systems beneficial, but not requiredFluent in English (spoken and written) Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:Diploma, BA, MA, in Design (Fashion, Industrial, or related field)Thorough knowledge of art and design with clear understanding of visual design or any design related environmentPreferably some practical experience in a design environment (internships or freelance)Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree PREFERRED TRAITS:Passion for movement, sport, and cultureStrategic thinker with a hands-on approach At adidas we offer a hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week.
