Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $16.50 - $16.50 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Carpenter Helper:

• Use various tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
• Employ hand tools such as squares, levels, and chisels, and power tools like sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines
• Fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and perform a final check to ensure accuracy
• Use a tape measure on nearly every project to reduce waste and ensure that cut pieces are the correct size

Available Shifts: Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night) & Weekends

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Carpentry helper experience required
• 2-5 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry preferred
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read blueprints
• Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 pounds to load and unload wood and other materials, as well as transport tools and materials to and from the jobsite
