Title of Position - Assistant Kitchen Manager (AKM)

Job Description: Our AKM must be detail oriented and highly committed to excellence. The AKM will provide exceptional customer service along with having great communication skills. The AKM will work directly under the Kitchen Manager to assist in overseeing all BOH operations but will also work in the FOH. This person will be responsible for assisting in overseeing all operations from service excellence to delivering truly delicious dishes. The AKM must be able to build a strong team through solid hands-on guidance in addition to building profit through food cost, labor, ordering and exceptional customer service. This person must have some understanding of P&L management, as well as the ability to analyze financial documents. The AKM will always be expected to act as a positive role model. This position must be able to manage the work flow in a fast-paced environment and be a master of multi-tasking and delegating.

Qualifications:

• This AGM must have at least three years of high volume restaurant experience in Casual dining
• Experience in both the FOH and BOH is a requirement for our AGM
• A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for this AGM
• A solid track record in achieving financial results is a must for this AGM
• The AGM must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity
• The AGM should have open availability
