Physician Relations Intern
SUMMARY
The Physician Relations intern will play a role in supporting the organization's physician outreach and relationship management efforts. The Physician Relations team is responsible for strategic planning and executing programs to support our hospital services and build strong connections with medical professionals. This Physician Relations intern will support work in partnership across our physician engagement, communication, and database management teams. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple relationship management disciplines, and may include support with program administration, content organization, CRM optimization and data integrity, and special projects.

CRM Optimization & Data Integrity
Provides administrative and operational support for CRM platforms (Salesforce and Definitive Healthcare), including data audits, list validation, and record maintenance. Enhances territory engagement for representatives by ensuring accurate contact information and segmentation for targeted communications. Special Projects & Competitive Intelligence
Initiates and executes special research projects focused on gathering intelligence from leading children's hospitals, including newsletters, outreach strategies, and digital presence for community providers. Translates research into recommendations and actionable insights that support innovation and enhance program effectiveness within the Physician Relations program. Collateral Management & Brand Stewardship
Curates and maintains a comprehensive inventory of print and digital marketing collateral to support Physician Relations outreach. Ensures timely organization and replenishment of materials in the workroom and digital platforms, including SharePoint. Digital Content & Document Management
Manages electronic records and content libraries on SharePoint, ensuring accurate organization, version control, and archival processes. Collaborates with team members to maintain a user-friendly and up-to-date digital resource hub.SCOPE AND LEVELGuidelines: Trains in the field and assists higher level personnel to acquire learning through practical experience.
Complexity: Performs routine and/or basic tasks common to the field. Procedures, methods, and techniques to be used are well established with options to be considered well defined. Tools, work aids, and materials to be used are specified.
Decision Making: Decisions or recommendations on non-standardized situations are limited to relating organizational policies to specific cases. Brings non routine issues to supervisor. Problems that are not covered by guidelines or are without precedent are taken up with the supervisor.
Communications: Contacts with the public or employees where factual information relative to the organization or its functions are received, relayed, or a service rendered according to established procedures or instructions.
Supervision Received: Under close supervision, the employee receives training to develop skills and abilities in a specific line of work or general occupational area. Work product is subject to close, continuous inspection.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in healthcare administration, marketing, business, communications, or a related field.

Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Range: $15.03 to $22.54
