A premier international law firm in Midtown Manhattan is hiring a Tax Associate Attorney (24 years) to join its high-performing Tax Practice Group. This hybrid position requires 3+ days onsite and offers a salary range of $250K-$360K, plus exceptional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on tax structuring for M&A, joint ventures, and fund formations
• Support private equity/hedge funds on formation, operations, and compliance
• Research and draft legal memos, client alerts, and tax opinions
• Provide support during IRS audits, appeals, and litigation
• Analyze cross-border transactions and international tax compliance (FATCA/CRS)
• Collaborate with corporate, real estate, and private client teams

Qualifications:

• J.D. from a top-tier law school; NY bar admission required
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred
• 24 years experience in tax law at a major firm or tax boutique
• Expertise in corporate, partnership, and international tax
• Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills
