Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer
Location-Type: Hybrid (2-3 days/week onsite in Reading, PA 19607 or Tampa, FL 33609)
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: 3-month Contract-to-Hire
Compensation Range:

• Regular Engineer: $55-65/hr on W2 ONLY!
• Senior Engineer: $65-75/hr on W2 ONLY

Job Description:
Support the engineering and implementation of cybersecurity solutions across the infrastructure to strengthen enterprise-wide security posture.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Maintain endpoint, network, server, and application security tools and policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve and prevent security issues
• Review and enhance security architecture and models
• Administer authentication, proxy filtering, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Contribute to compliance documentation and audits (SOX, PCI)
• Engineer security solutions and monitor infrastructure for potential threats
• Define and implement security standards and disaster recovery plans
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to security awareness initiatives

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:
  
  • 3+ years of experience for Engineer, 7+ for Senior Engineer
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Endpoint Protection tools experience
  • Proxy filtering/web security gateways
  • SSO/Authentication infrastructure knowledge
  • Teachable and team-oriented personality
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Nice-to-Haves:
  
  • Firewall administration experience
  • Cloud Security fundamentals
  • Background in auditing or compliance
  • Familiarity with encryption technologies and disaster recovery
