Job Details

This is a full-time Network Automation Engineer opportunity supporting a federal program. The role is fully remote, working for a defense-focused technology integrator. You'll work with modern network automation tooling, Python, Ansible, Cisco, and cloud-driven network environments, and the position requires an active Secret clearance.

Required Skills & Experience
• Active Secret clearance
• 5+ years of network engineering or automation engineering
• Strong Python scripting
• Experience with Ansible or similar automation frameworks
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, and firewalls
• Experience with Cisco platforms (IOS, NX-OS, ASA, etc.)

Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps workflows
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• API integration experience (REST, NetConf, etc.)
• CCNP, DevNet, or equivalent certifications

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
• 50% Network automation (Python, Ansible, APIs)
• 50% Traditional networking (Cisco, routing/switching, firewalls)

Daily Responsibilities
• 80% Hands On
• 5% Management Duties
• 15% Team Collaboration
