Service Writer - Baton Rouge
Evaluation Hire | $15/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, plus every 3rd Saturday
Express Employment Professionals - Downtown Baton Rouge is seeking a Service Writer for a locally owned and operated car dealership in East Baton Rouge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and high integrity to join a reputable team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk
- Manage counter operations and answer incoming calls
- Prepare service write-ups, vehicle tickets, and estimates
- Record parts prices accurately and process invoices
- Order auto parts as needed
- Perform data entry and utilize MS Office for documentation
- Handle scanning, copying, and other administrative tasks
- Opportunity for commission in addition to hourly pay
- Previous experience in an auto body or auto parts shop preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and customer-focused
- Proficient in computer applications and data entry
