Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Service Manager in Baton Rouge, LA to lead commercial HVAC service operations and manage a team of technicians serving commercial accounts.

Grow service revenue by maintaining existing contracts and identifying new service opportunities

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of commercial HVAC service department including dispatch and scheduling
Lead and develop a team of service technicians to deliver professional service to commercial clients
Oversee service contract execution and ensure preventive maintenance programs are completed on time
Review and approve service quotes, proposals, and change orders
Monitor service metrics including response times, first-time fix rates, and customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with key commercial accounts and facility managers
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency
Manage service department P&L and achieve financial targets

Requirements

Must-Haves
8+ years of commercial HVAC service experience with progression to leadership roles
3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading service teams
EPA Universal Certification required
Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and building controls
Proven track record of managing service operations profitably
Excellent customer relationship and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or business management
Experience with service management software and ERP systems
Knowledge of energy management and building automation systems
