JOB TITLE: Application Programmer

Scope of Work

The scope of the proposed services includes the following:

• Experience and expertise in web development using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and HTML.
• Design, code, compile, test, debug, and document new and existing web applications.
• Perform maintenance and provide support for existing applications.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and testing on new code.
• Participate in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
• Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State personnel for all requested work.
• Monitor, review, and audit performance to ensure system efficiency and reliability.

Mandatory Expertise and Experience

Candidates must have:

• 2+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas:
  
  • C#
  • ASP.NET Core
  • Entity Framework

Desirable (Preferred) Expertise and Experience

The following skills and experience are desirable but not mandatory:

• 2+ years of experience in the following areas:
  
  • Developing applications using MVC architecture in .NET Core (2.x, 3.x, .NET 5 or later)
  • Vue.js
  • Bootstrap
  • JavaScript
  • SQL Server (T-SQL)
  • SSIS / SSRS
  • IIS
  • Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Distributed design systems (SOA / Microservices)
  • DevOps practices (CI/CD)

***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen's client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
