Pavement Striping Laborer - Baton Rouge

FULL-TIME

$16/hr

Monday - Friday 6 AM - 4 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for Pavement Striping Laborers for a local client in East Baton Rouge Parish.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Pavement Striping Laborers:

• Cleaning and preparing the surface to ensure proper adhesion of paint. This may involve power washing, patching cracks, and removing debris.
• Measuring and marking lines according to specific designs or regulations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Applying paint using striping machines, spray guns, or hand tools to create clear, durable lines.
• Inspecting painted lines for uniformity, clarity, and adherence to standards. Touching up areas as needed.
• Cleaning and maintaining striping equipment to ensure it operates effectively for future jobs.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and providing updates on progress.

Skills and Experience REQUIRED:

• Ability to work outdoors and on feet all-day
• Ability to be on time every day.
• Must have steel-toe boots.
• Must be able to provide good customer service.
