Performs general and medical assisting duties according to state guidelines. - Records and signs all pertinent information in the patient's chart - Triage all patients according to Patient Plus standards. - Instruct patients in the collection of samples and tests. - Collects, accurately labels, and forwards specimens for laboratory analysis. - Prepares patients and assists Providers with examination, treatments, and procedures. - Prepares and administers medications and injections after verifying correct dosage (Use the six rights of medication). - Observes, records, and reports the patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to Providers. - Prepares examination rooms; sterilizes instruments for tests per established procedures. - Thoroughly cleans equipment and examination rooms per policy. - Demonstrates thorough knowledge of infection control procedures; strictly adheres to policies and procedures; washes hands before and after each patient contact. - Instructs and arra...Medical Assistant, Medical, Assistant, Healthcare, Patient
