What Will You Be Doing?

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, your primary responsibility will be to maintain electrical and instrumentation systems at our production facility. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
  • Monitor gauges and indicators to identify abnormal fluctuations.
  • Maintain knowledge of operations software and hardware.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on control instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures.
  • Complete work orders and maintain equipment history records.
  • Diagnose existing or potential issues with electrical equipment.
  • Clean, lubricate, calibrate, and adjust machinery as necessary.
  • Install and commission electrical equipment effectively.
  • Prioritize housekeeping and cleanliness to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Bring multi-craft skills to perform additional maintenance tasks as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work well both in teams and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in maximizing production and minimizing downtime by maintaining equipment.
  • Experienced with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); knowledgeable in using Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo, and Frequency Drives.
  • Professional attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe working environment and following health and safety procedures.
  • Willingness to maintain good housekeeping practices within the facility.
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
