Southern Air Hvac Service Technician

Looking to trade up to a better opportunity? Southern Air in Baton Rouge is looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing and dedicated HVAC Service Team. HVAC Service Technicians are paid hourly plus commission.

What you will do:

Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment

Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer

Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills

Prioritize customer service and satisfaction

Attend periodic company or manufacturer training

Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Consistently work with and handle at least 50lbs

Who you are:

1-5 Years HVAC installation experience preferred

HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school

Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record

Ability to handle heavy equipment

EPA Type II (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Salary: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Baton Rouge, LA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
