We're seeking dependable and service-oriented individuals to support our food service operations at Baton Rouge General. As a Food Service Worker, you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, efficient, and safe environment while ensuring our patients, staff, and visitors receive quality service and care.

What You'll Do:

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils following sanitary procedures
• Operate the dish machine and perform routine kitchen equipment cleaning
• Assist with food deliveries, storage, and restocking
• Sweep and mop floors, dispose of trash and recyclables safely
• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA protocols
• Support team members in kitchen and food service areas as needed

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, follow instructions, and work in a fast-paced environment
