About this Job The Louisiana Department of Environmental Qualitys (LDEQ) mission is to provide service to the people of Louisiana through comprehensive environmental protection in order to promote and protect health, safety and welfare. The Environmental Scientist Supervisor (ESS) is responsible for supervision of the work processes of subordinates to ensure procedural and technical accuracy and completeness within a functional unit in the Radiation Section. This position requires a high degree of knowledge of environmental regulations in order to supervise the inspection of radioactive material and x-ray equipment.
