Are you passionate about patient care and skilled in cardiac monitoring? We are seeking a dedicated Monitor Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for observing cardiac telemetry monitors, identifying and reporting cardiac rhythms and changes, and ensuring accurate, timely communication with nursing staff to support patient safety.

What You'll Do:

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors

• Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias and respond appropriately

• Document rhythm strips and rhythm changes in patient records

• Work closely with nursing and clinical teams to provide timely updates

• Maintain monitor equipment and ensure accurate lead placement

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completion of EKG/monitor technician training program preferred

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Prior experience in a hospital telemetry or cardiac monitoring unit a plus

• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Requirements
