The Linen Attendant coordinates the clean and soiled linen processes including maintaining linen inventory levels, overseeing delivery to floors, stocking carts, inspection of linen, return of rejected items and reconciliation of charges for linen. Coordinates physician and employee scrub program. Assists inventory control clerk with other inventory control procedures as requested. Performs other duties assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Two years environmental service experience.
Responsibilities:
* Weighs clean and reject linen upon delivery at dock and documents weight of each.
* Carefully sorts the linen delivery, examining for holes, tape, stains, etc. Returns rejected items to vendor for credit.
* Stocks the clean linen carts according to the part levels established for each item for each unit. Covers the cart and readies for distribution.
* Reconciles linen weight, debits and credits against vendor bill each week.
* Coordinates return of soiled linen to vendor for laundering.
* Any other duties as assigned by Woman's Hospital.

Hourly/Non-Exempt
$14.00+/hour; based on work experience
