General Summary

The Marketing Creative Specialist supports the Credit Union's brand and marketing initiatives through the design and production of engaging, high-quality creative assets. Reporting to the AVP, Brand and Creative, this role brings concepts to life across digital, print, and multimedia channels helping strengthen member engagement and brand recognition. The Specialist collaborates closely with the broader marketing team to produce creative work that aligns with brand standards, campaign goals, and strategic objectives.

Position Duties & Functions

  • Design and produce digital and print graphics, layouts, and multimedia content for marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Write, edit, and refine copy for marketing materials, ensuring messaging is clear, on-brand, and engaging for members.
  • Execute creative projects across websites, email, social media, in-branch displays, advertising, and other communication channels.
  • Prepare production-ready files for both print and digital distribution, ensuring brand consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members on project planning, brainstorming, and creative execution.
  • Maintain organized design assets, templates, and project archives for efficient workflow.
  • Support vendor coordination for asset production, print, photography, and other creative services as needed.
  • Stay current with design trends, digital best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance creative output.

Position Requirements

Experience and Education

  • 24 years of experience in graphic design, creative production, or related marketing design role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, multimedia, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in both digital and print design with demonstrated creativity and attention to detail.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and file specifications for web, email, and social media.
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Copywriting and editing experience is a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Work involves extensive use of computers, up to eight hours per day. Appropriate vision, dexterity, and other physical abilities are required.
  • May include occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to speak and present on the telephone and/or through digital means of communication, including but not limited to Zoom/Teams/or other video technologies.

Zone 1: $62,624.00 - $86,108.00

Zone 2: $56,987.84 - $78,358.28

Zone 3: $52,604.16 - $72,330.72

Zone 4: $50,099.20 - $68,886.40

Please note that annual salary ranges are posted for these roles; however, compensation will be paid on an hourly basis, and the ranges displayed are based on 2,080 hours per year.
