Supervises and directs employees engaged in activities related to mechanical work on equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, and/or gas processing facility. Essential Functions and Responsibilities. Supervise, direct, and/or assist employees performing mechanical work on engines and equipment at various locations including but not limited to:Internal combustion, diesel, and natural gas powered engines. Compressors, generators, turbines, electrical equipment, and well equipment. Vessels, piping, valves, instrumentation, and controls. Heaters, boilers, heat exchangers, and related equipment. Ensure completion of routine prevention, predictive, and compliance maintenance work including paper documentation. Coordinate system improvements and modifications and other special projects. Determine materials needed and prepare authorization for expenses (AFE's) for major maintenance items.
