We are seeking an experienced Field Service Lead to oversee field crews performing service, installation, and repair work on rotating equipment and related systems. This hands‑on role requires a strong leader who can coordinate daily tasks, maintain clear communication between the field and supervision, and ensure all work meets safety, quality, and customer expectations. Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) assigned crew members during field projects, ensuring adherence to job plans, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of field crews, ensuring all equipment, tooling, and documentation are prepared for each assignment.
- Conduct field inspections, vibration readings, alignments, and operational checks to verify equipment performance.
- Provide technical assistance in diagnosing, repairing, and testing electric motors, generators, and related systems.
- Support and verify field measurements, precision fits, and component replacements as needed for repair accuracy.
- Serve as the primary on‑site contact for the Field Service Foreman and customers, communicating progress, needs, and any deviations from scope.
- Oversee job site setup, task delegation, and tool/equipment organization to maintain efficient workflow.
- Perform hands‑on work, including disassembly, repair, installation, and testing of electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Ensure all field work meets customer specifications, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Identify and communicate safety hazards, quality issues, or operational concerns to supervision promptly.
- Verify job documentation and service reports for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Maintain professionalism and represent RSAW with integrity at all customer sites.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in electrical service repair of rotating electric/mechanical apparatus.
- One to two years of experience managing a crew.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card & Security Passport.
- Ability to complete the OSHA Basic Plus Orientation.
- Participation in the DISA Program.
- Valid driver's license with no major violations in the past three years.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, on‑call, and off‑shift as needed.
- Must be able to pass a drug and physical test.
