LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry Oral Surgery Department is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Dental Assistant 1 or 2 in our Baton Rouge location. These positions are in a Career Progression Group. As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a (Dental Assistant 1 or 2) depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s). This position does not require applicants to take a Civil Service test. Pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check are required. This position will require selected applicant to be in a probationary status for at least 6 months.
One year of experience or training as a dental assistant or dental hygienist.
