Dispatcher / Logistics Lead

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday (On-site)

About the Role

Double F Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher/Logistics Lead to join our team in Baton Rouge! This position plays a key role as the connection between our customers and CDL drivers - ensuring loads are dispatched efficiently, problems are solved quickly, and service stays exceptional.

What You'll Do

• Dispatch daily loads and coordinate with drivers
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and drivers
• Organize and problem-solve to ensure safe, cost-effective, on-time performance
• Support company and customer procedures
• Communicate effectively to maintain strong customer relationships
• Inspect trucks and trailers as needed
• Assist the Logistics Manager and act as backup when required

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• High school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Strong computer skills (Google Suite or MS Office)
• Experience with dispatch software a plus
• Availability to be on-call every other week (24/7)
