Warehouse Administrator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Warehouse Administrator for a company based in Baton Rouge, La. In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth workflows.

Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Warehouse Administrator Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store inventory, including verifying quantities and reporting discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reports, including tracking inventory levels and identifying trends
• Assist in the coordination of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations
• Assist in the maintenance of a safe and organized warehouse environment, including adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve warehouse operations

Warehouse Administrator Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in a warehouse or related role, demonstrating a proven track record of meeting performance targets.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for effectively addressing challenges and coordinating with team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a dedicated focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, including proficiency in inventory management, shipping, and receiving procedures.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and technology platforms, enabling efficient tracking and management of inventory.
• Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, fulfilling job requirements while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure efficient workflow.
