Data Analyst
The Data Analyst at Tort Experts will play a key role in investigating data inconsistencies, identifying issues, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making across teams. This role requires a strong foundation in SQL, data exploration, and data visualization, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Data Analyst will help ensure data accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and empower team members with data-driven solutions.
Location: Remote (must be available 9am - 5pm Eastern Time)
What You'll Do
- Data Investigation: Identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies or anomalies within our systems.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborate with team members to pinpoint root causes of data-related issues and recommend solutions.
- Data Exploration: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and impactful dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technology, operations, and other departments to support data needs and ensure alignment on objectives.
- Process Optimization: Develop and improve data workflows, ensuring efficiency and scalability in reporting and analysis.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of data processes, methodologies, and findings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with data exploration and working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with data management best practices and workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a technology-driven organization.
