As District Service Manager in the Southeast (Houston) and Louisiana markets, you will maintain customer satisfaction and maximize service on all Access products. The role provides field technical service and advice to customers while delivering technical information, training and manuals necessary for safe operation and proper maintenance of JLG products.

Your impact

  • Provide on‑site formal service training and instruction on repair & maintenance of JLG products.
  • Identify and resolve all problems related to parts, service and warranty, including appropriate stocking levels of service parts.
  • Collect and transmit data relating to service problems, design deficiencies and general maintenance issues reported on the Service Request.
  • Provide field technical service and advice to customers in compliance with predetermined sales obligations.
  • Deal directly with distribution on end‑user service problems.
  • Supply distributors with technical information and manuals necessary for safe operation and proper maintenance.
  • Coordinate schedule changes with management and company departments.
  • Establish and deliver training & service programs to instruct distributors in proper maintenance.
  • Recommend modifications for product improvements based on field results and feedback.
  • Assess product performance and customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction with JLG products.
  • Visit new distributors upon arrival of the first pieces of equipment on new models.
  • Communicate any additional customer support problems or other issues to the appropriate District Manager.
  • Represent the Company at regional trade shows and open houses as required.
  • Always maintain goodwill of the customer and promote sales of Company products to existing and potential customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of related work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%.

Working Conditions

  • This role combines office‑based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.
  • In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.
  • Field work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
  • Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

Pay Range

$102,800.00 – $176,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
