BRANCH ADMINISTRATOR ASSISTANT

An opportunity is available in our Baton Rouge, LA office for a sharp and versatile assistant. Administrative responsibilities include assisting with: client and project setup; prepares project billing; collections; processes receivables, payables, POs, COs; updates project budgets; vendor setup; updates and distributes various reports; enters employee timesheets; assists HR with employee paperwork as needed; orders office and safety supplies; and handles incoming/outgoing mail. The Branch Administrator Assistant will also have the responsibilities to answer the phones daily and may occasionally make word processing edits for and prepare various engineering reports and proposals.The ideal candidate will have worked in an engineering firm and performed similar responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • One year experience with accounts receivables and payables preferred.
  • Billing experience preferred.
  • Experience with collections is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be accurate and able to meet billing deadlines and management objectives.
  • Must be able to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
