The Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer plays a dual rolesupporting both the Maintenance team and a cross-functional Plant team including engineers, chemists, researchers, and technologists. The Maintenance I&E Engineer maintains the sites Electrical and Instrument infrastructure and equipment. Instrumentation work includes flow, level, temperature, weigh systems and control valves. The position also includes programmable logic controller (PLC) work and Distributed Control System (DCS) programming. Baton Rouge has Research & Development (R&D) and manufacturing capabilities. A dedicated team performs fundamental research and product development in the laboratories, pilot plant, scale-up, as well as full-scale manufacturing The Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer reports to the Maintenance Reliability Leader, working a straight-day, 9/80 schedule.
