Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Resident Care Assistant at Amera Senior Living of Denham Springs, located in Denham Springs, LA. The Resident Care Assistant will support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal assistance, and mobility. Additional responsibilities include monitoring residents' well-being, assisting with medication reminders, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and fostering a positive and respectful relationship with residents and their families. Collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure residents' needs are met is also an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, meal assistance, and providing physical support to individuals
• Strong skills in monitoring well-being, medication reminders, and observation of resident health
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, support facility upkeep, and ensure safety compliance
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful interpersonal communication skills
• Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience working with senior living populations is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in a relevant field (e.g., CNA) is preferred.
