WHAT WE NEED:

Control Systems & Automation Engineer/Specialist

The position of Control Systems & Automation Engineer/Specialist - will be responsible for assisting in the design, installation, programming, and maintenance of Control Systems along with related industrial automation equipment. This position requires previous experience on DCS, PLC, or SIS platforms.

Responsibilities:

• This position requires the individual to install, commission, and maintain distributed control systems and other automation equipment.
• Design and analyze project requirements for installation, commissioning, and inspecting systems hardware and software, troubleshooting, resolving problems, and managing project needs.
• Focus on design, configuration/programming, installation, maintenance, testing, startup, upgrading, and troubleshooting.
• Working with various DCS & PLC Systems, in addition to related industrial process instrumentation.
• Conduct site visits as required to determine the full scope of a project.
• Ensure quality work is produced that follows industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Assist in the development of internal processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Communicate all project or team issues to the Department Manager.

WHO WE NEED:

• BS Degree in Engineering or Technology Field (Significant experience can replace degree requirement)
• Experience in programming, commissioning, and startup of any of the following control system platforms such as Siemens (S7 & PCS7), Modicon, TDC-3000, Experion PKS, Yokogawa, Triconex and DeltaV are preferred.
• Ability to work in a small team, self-motivated, and solutions oriented.
• Willing to pursue opportunities for growth and development of the department.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management.
• Excellent computer and networking skills along with basic industrial instrumentation knowledge
