Custodian Supervisor A

Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of a full-time Custodial Supervisor A, located in the Facilities Service Department and reports to the Director of Facility Service, to supervise custodians involved with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of campus facilities.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.

Job Duties: Daily supervision of subordinate activities, as well as approving leave and formally evaluating performance. Supervises and inspects custodial work performed by subordinates, ensure subordinates follow safety protocols. Schedules work and assign daily cleaning duties. Issues cleaning supplies and equipment, and orders supplies as needed. Provide orientation and training to new employees.

Compensation: Anticipated starting salary will be commensurate with education and work experience.
