Are you a results-driven accounting professional with a passion for leadership and financial excellence? We are seeking a Controller to lead and oversee all aspects of our accounting operations while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Department: Accounting
Reports to: Vice President of Administration and CFO
Status: Salaried (Exempt)

About the Role:

As the Controller, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and play a pivotal role in managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing effective internal controls, and driving insightful financial analysis. This position is key to fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment and supporting profitable sales growth across multiple operating companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present monthly financial results to executive leadership with clear, concise analysis.
• Prepare and coordinate internal and external financial statements.
• Lead the year-end audit process and manage compliance with statutory tax requirements.
• Oversee bank reporting and covenant compliance while ensuring adherence to US GAAP and other regulations.

Accounting Operations:

• Provide leadership over general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cash posting, and billing functions.
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems and technologies for efficiency and data integrity.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and documented accounting policies.
• Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to develop financial plans and performance targets.
• Monitor and report KPI trends, sales performance, and financial variances.
• Support operational leadership by analyzing inventory adjustments, credits, and other metrics.

Leadership & Team Development:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team in a collaborative environment.
• Foster open communication within the team and across departments.
• Ensure systems, processes, and resources align with the needs of a high-growth organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
