Our client, a leader in industrial operational technology, is seeking a Systems Architect - Entry Level to join their team. As a Systems Architect, you will be part of the IT support and infrastructure team supporting OT systems and network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Systems Architect - Entry Level
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Pay Range: 42-44/hr
What's the Job?
- Manage and support backup systems using Veeam and Acronis, including configuration, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain NAS hardware devices such as Synology or QNAP solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Build and configure servers, perform advanced troubleshooting, and optimize hardware performance.
- Work with virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi and vSphere, managing virtual machines and network configurations.
- Hands-on experience with backup software platforms such as Veeam and Acronis.
- Knowledge of NAS deployment, RAID configurations, and storage performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience in server building, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtualization environments, especially VMware ESXi and vSphere.
