Hotel Maintenance Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Hotel Maintenance Technician for a company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel by ensuring all facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent working conditions as well as developing your maintenance skills while working in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Pay Rate: $15 Per Hour

Schedule and Hours: Flexible

Hotel Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and building systems like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Key duties will include responding to work orders and emergency calls, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with external specialists.

Hotel Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements

• Basic knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical repairs
• Ability to respond promptly to work orders and emergency calls, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members, guests and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine maintenance issues efficiently and safely.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures related to building maintenance and emergency response.
• Technical or vocational training in building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, temporary
