About this Job Perform labor to maintain grounds. Ability to operate hand and power equipment. Some plant ID knowledge, chemical application. Pruning, equipment maintenance, raking, litter pickup. Working in adverse weather, overtime work, and weekend work. Equipment may include: riding and push mower, string trimmer, blower, back pack blower and sprayer, tractor, ZTR, hedger, edger, chain saw. Storm debris cleanup, drain cleaning, laying sod, weed removal, mulching, digging, grading, cleaning signs and other items, painting, pressure washing, and planting. Minimum Qualifications One year of experience or training in farming, the care and maintenance of trees and shrubs, or groundskeeping; OR - Six semester hours in a plant science or landscape field of study.
