PSC Group is seeking a motivated and ambitious Hydroblasting Technician to join our team at a one of the largest petro-chemical plants located in Baton Rouge, LA. The primary responsibility of a Hydroblasting Technician is to safely and efficiently clean the rubber production equipment using a high pressure water jet (9500 PSI Max).

Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available. This is a full-time position with potential advancement opportunities.

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)

Pay Range: $17.50- $19.50 DOE

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* Utilize high pressure water jetting equipment to clean rubber from production equipment.

* Inspect and maintain water jetting hoses, rigs, and guns to ensure that they are safe to operate.

* Wears all PPE, including: suit, face shield, double hearing protection, eye protection, rubber boots with metatarsal guards, and chemical gloves.

* Performs routine sweeping of outdoor decks and floors.

* Inspect work areas regularly to ensure that they are maintained.

* Perform other duties that may be required to continue production.

* Ability to accept Permits and work independently.

* Expected to be familiar with all safety standards and procedures regarding the job.

Job Qualifications:

* Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available

* Must possess a valid Driver's License and a valid TWIC card

* 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

* Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check

* Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
