Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Scale Clerk for our Easterly and Amite West locations. This role supports a positive safety culture within an aggregate environment regulated by MSHA compliance and industry standards. Responsibilities include recording weights, calculating charges, maintaining accurate records and serving as a backup Dispatcher on an as needed basis. Precision and diligence in a high tempo environment are paramount. A typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, but may be required to work overtime, including early morning shift starting times. Saturdays may be required based on production needs. Day to Day Provide prompt and courteous customer service both internally and externally. Ensure accurate weight of trucks and accuracy of tickets prior to issue. Perform site specific safety training or verify it has been completed, and all plant visitors sign in/out daily.
