Louisiana State University invites applications for Associate Professor of Voice, a position supported by the Janice Harvey Pellar Endowed Chair. Appointment will begin in fall 2026. The successful candidate, having demonstrated exceptional musicianship, teaching, research and/or creative activity, and leadership in the academic setting, will be appointed at the rank of Associate or Full Professor with tenure. Funding from the endowment will be controlled by the holder and provide significant research and instructional support on an annual basis. The Chair reports to the Director of the School of Music, housed within the College of Music and Dramatic Arts.
