Your Role in Service & Engagement

As a Guest Experience Advocate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the experience of our guests by providing exceptional service and engagement. You will support both in-store and digital services that drive guest loyalty and ensure a smooth shopping experience at checkout, guest services, and more.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Fostering a service culture that prioritizes guest experience through adherence to our service standards.
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting all guests sincerely.
  • Observing guest needs proactively to offer assistance or engage in meaningful conversations.
  • Engaging with guests politely to understand and address their specific requirements.
  • Being knowledgeable about in-store products and services to enhance the guest experience.
  • Thanking guests genuinely and expressing our appreciation for their choice to shop at Target.
  • Scanning and bagging items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
  • Minimizing guest wait times without sacrificing service quality.
  • Informing guests about current promotions, upcoming brands, and store events.
  • Educating guests on Target's loyalty programs and assisting with sign-ups as necessary.
  • Helping guests utilize the Target App's features effectively.
  • Understanding and explaining all fulfillment services to ensure guests get the help they need.
  • Processing returns while adhering to relevant policies and cooperating with leadership when necessary.
  • Collaborating with team leaders to de-escalate challenging situations while maintaining a positive shopping experience.
  • Assisting guests with Order Pick-Up and Drive-Up services while maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including managing abandoned items and supplies.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Engaging in various store duties as needed based on business demands.
