The role of the Operations Training Specialist is to perform all functions related to training frontline employees. This includes developing and delivering new employee and ongoing training curriculum for employees in the Teller, Member Services Representative, Branch Specialist, Assistant Branch Manager, and Branch Manager positions. The Operations Training Specialist works closely with all credit union departments to develop course materials and receive feedback. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for serving others. They must be comfortable engaging in professional and productive conversation with others and presenting in a group or individual setting. Meeting deadlines and attention to detail are critical pieces of this position. Our Operations Training Specialist must embody Pelican's Core Values and be knowledgeable of Pelican's products/services, lending processes, and rules/regulations which govern the Credit Union.
