The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to facilitate the return of injured workers to the workforce as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with the Workers' Compensation Act.
The Office of Workers' Compensation Administration (OWCA) in Louisiana oversees the enforcement and administration of workers' compensation laws, aiming to support early return-to-work efforts and improve workplace safety. We do not process individual workers' compensation claims or issue benefit payments.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
• Receive and input Disputed Medical Reimbursement (DMR) cases and disputes over hospital reimbursement (Outliers) into the JustWare system, ensuring accuracy and completeness before forwarding to medical staff.
• Respond to phone calls and emails from stakeholders, providing information or referring to the appropriate staff member.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing mail for Medical Services. This may encompass preparing certified mail.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Medical Director and direct supervisor, including:
Making calls, preparing and sending letters, emails and faxes.
Preparing other clerical tasks as assigned.
