We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Scientific industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to engage in innovative projects that are shaping the future of science and technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex civil engineering projects. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of engineering principles, and can work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design detailed civil engineering plans and specifications for a variety of scientific projects.
• Ensure all designs and projects comply with National Electrical Code and International Building Codes.
• Utilize Civil 3D software to prepare engineering drawings and plans.
• Oversee site development, including grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Perform complex calculations and prepare estimates for project costs and timelines.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and changes in regulations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the scientific industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
• Extensive knowledge of National Electrical Code and International Building Codes.
• Experience with site development, including grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Strong understanding of BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
