Summary:

The NeuroMedical Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Imaging Supervisor to lead and manage our Radiology Department. This role is responsible for performing routine radiographic procedures, including MRI and X-ray, overseeing daily operations, maintaining equipment, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality imaging services across multiple modalities, including MRI and X-ray.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support MRI and X-ray technologists.
  • Ensure optimal department coverage through cross-training and effective scheduling.
  • Performing MRI exams
  • Assisting with X-ray if needed.
  • Maintain, inspect, and coordinate service for imaging equipment.
  • Lead human resource functions including recruitment, orientation, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of ACR Accreditation standards and ensure ongoing compliance to uphold accreditation.
  • Conduct staff meetings and maintain thorough documentation and departmental records.
  • Develop and update departmental policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and The NeuroMedical Center's confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with other department supervisors and participate in interdepartmental meetings.
  • Monitor inventory and order necessary departmental supplies.
  • Support professional development of staff and maintain a positive, productive, and professional environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered with the ARRT and LRRT or registry eligible with appropriate permits.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain BLS certification.
  • 3 years of clinical imaging experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior leadership experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge across MRI and X-ray modalities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 60 pounds and assist with patient positioning.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific care standards and safety regulations.
