Under close supervision performs routine assignments that are clearly defined and require the application of standard design techniques, procedures and criteria. Activities are directly initiated, supervised and reviewed by more senior level specialists and engineers. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No significant supervisory work required. May provide some technical guidance for design personnel. EDUCATION Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Internship classification normally requires completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Must have working knowledge of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment. Previous internship experience is preferred, but not required.
